Re: Cosplay

Next convention where i will attend to here in finland would be Tracon 2010 on july..
I've decided to cosplay Revy from Black Lagoon in her usual outfit. For the first time i'll be doing some serious props, her berretta guns and that grenade launcher from episode 3. Got the idea when i watched some tutorials by featherweight, he uses cardboard boxes and thin cardboard and hot glue to make some awesome stuff, cant wait to try biggrin

Re: Cosplay

Carboard for weapons? That's a trick, can't wait to see.

Re: Cosplay

Now its done and over, link. The convention was last weekend 3rd and 4th of July.
Cardboard gun wasnt so easy as i thought, it looks a bit unfinished i quess. If i cosplay revy again im sure to update it, and hopefully make her beretta's too.

Next cosplay would be Hatake Kakashi in 2011, hopefully not at summer, because its been so hot here. Since last friday its been like 25-30 celsius and sun shining everyday. I was so glad i only had few clothes on biggrin My friend wants to cosplay Sasuke or Kurenai so its perfect chance for Kakashi-cosplay. Also we have one other friend who has cosplayed Asuma a few times, maybe he would like to do it again.

Then next summer i thought to cosplay from Claymore with my other friend, she will be Teresa and I'll be Galatea, tabun~ This cosplay is not yet finalized.

Unfortunately I dont know if i can continue my music studies at semester, because i tried to apply to another program but failed the test, so dunno what would be my source of money next academic year.

Re: Cosplay

Well i didnt actually forgot it, i just didnt know how i should do it without ruining them. also they were a bit frayed to begin with. I tried to do the shorts from my old jeans but it didnt turn well at all so i had to buy shorts. i quess the pattern is different for normal jeans and shorts, and not just shorter.

I should do proper fraying next time if i'm gonna do it again ^^

Re: Cosplay

Good point, I have no idea on how to do it either.
